<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the high-accuracy manufacturing of lenses and reduction in manufacturing costs in a lens manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The lens manufacturing method is configured to use a molding unit in order to manufacture lenses from a structure in which a plurality of lens middle parts 51 are coupled to each other via a runner 50. Here, the molding unit has the following configuration. A holding part 3 is formed with a first opening 31 and a second opening 32 which are coaxially arranged with each other, and a molding chamber 33. A first molding die 1 and a second molding die 2 are inserted into the first opening 31 and the second opening 32. The holding part 3 is formed with a path 35 that allows the introduction of each lens middle part 51 into the molding chamber 33. The manufacturing method has the following configuration. The structure is operated to move the lens intermediate part 51 and the runner 50 along the path 53, thereby guiding the lens intermediate 51 to a predetermined position Q in the molding chamber 33.
