<p>The present invention inhibits the unnecessary reduction in speed or stopping of transfer cars when the cars pass through divergence points and junction points in a guided transfer car system. The guided transfer car system is provided with a track (100) having a guide wire (600) within a prescribed area that includes the divergence points and the junction points, and a plurality of transfer cars (200) that are supported by, and perform guided travel on, the track. Each of the plurality of transfer cars has the following: transmission units (910, 920) that are capable of individually transmitting a plurality of signals the frequency of each of which differs from the others; sending units (810, 820) that send each of the plurality of signals transmitted by the transmission units to the guide wire; receiving units (710, 720) that are capable of receiving each of the plurality of signals transferred via the guide wire; a determination unit (955) that determines, on the basis of the type of signal received by the receiving units, whether the transfer car should slow down, stop, or continue traveling; and a control unit (960) that controls the travel of the transfer car in response to the determination results of the determination unit.</p> |
