Device (1) comprises: a conveyor profile (4) with at least one conveyor belt (5), which rotates the conveyor profile and is movable by a first driving unit (7), where a first end of a first partial section of the conveyor profile protrudes by a predetermined degree in a receiving element (2), in which the dough mass is arranged; and a lifting device connected with the conveyor profile and a sensor arrangement, by which a filling level height of the dough mass is detected in the receiving element.
