<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a battery lifetime of each of components of a robot system affects operability of the overall system. <P>SOLUTION: A power saving robot system 200 includes a mobile robot 104 and a network data bridge 202 which is installed under an environment where there is at least one peripheral. The network data bridge 202 includes a broadband network interface 210 connectable to an Internet protocol network, a radio command interface 204 connectable to a radio command protocol network, and a data bridge component 202 which extracts a serial command received via the broadband network interface 210 from an Internet protocol, and broadcasts the serial command via a narrowband radio interface so as to be received by the mobile robot 104 and the peripheral. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
