<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equalizing device and an equalizing method for improved equalizing performance with no increase in the scale of a circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A forward direction equalizing process part 102 performs training in a forward direction using a synchronization word arranged at the head of a current frame, and performs tracking in the forward direction about a data section of the current frame. An opposite direction equalizing process part 104 performs training in an opposite direction using the synchronization word arranged at the head of the next frame, and performs tracking in the opposite direction for the data section of the current frame. An RSSI measurement part 106 measures RSSI using a received signal, and an RSSI minimum position determination part 107 detects an RSSI minimal value and an RSSI minimum position. An RSSI comparison part 108 performs threshold value determination of the RSSI minimal value and the predetermined threshold value. An equalization result selection part 109, selects a forward direction equalization result or opposite direction equalization result as an equalizer output based on the threshold value determination result of the RSSI minimum position and the RSSI minimal value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
