<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid state image pick up device which suppresses the occurrence of dark current in an optical black (OB) pixel region, and to provide an electronic apparatus using the solid state image pick up device. <P>SOLUTION: In a solid state image pick up device, a film, formed in a space between a light shielding film 19 and a substrate 10 that is located on a photoelectric conversion part 11 of an OB pixel region 8, is composed only of a silicon oxide film (insulation film 22). This structure prevents electric charge from occurring in the space between the light shielding film 19 and the substrate 10 that is located on the photoelectric conversion part 11 of the OB pixel region 8, thereby suppressing the occurrence of dark current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
