ELECTROMAGNETIC SOLENOID, AND VARIABLE VALVE DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic solenoid capable of reducing collision noise and always accurately stopping a plunger at a predetermined position, and a variable valve device capable of accurately changing valve timing.

SOLUTION: A stopper member (82) for opposing to and receiving a plunger (75) on a rear side, is supported by a fixing member (80) so as to slide in an axial direction. The stopper member (82) is energized to a front side by energizing means (87), and the forward sliding of the stopper (82) is regulated at a predetermined position by a position regulating portion (80b) configured by the fixing member (80). The plunger (75) abuts on the stopper member (82) regulated at the predetermined position by the position regulating portion (80b) when moving backward.
