<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate excellent in flame retardancy, transparency and further chemical resistance and surface hardness. <P>SOLUTION: The polyethylene terephthalate is obtained by copolymerizing a phosphorus element-containing compound represented by formula (I) and tricyclo[5.2.1.0<SP POS="POST">2,6</SP>]decanedimethanol, and is a copolymerized polyester having an intrinsic viscosity of ≥0.40 dL/g, thereby providing the flame retardant copolymerized polyester excellent in flame retardancy, transparency and further chemical resistance and surface hardness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
