<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution device that enables real time video to be preferentially viewed, and even when input video from a camera is interrupted, enables unviewed video to be viewed. <P>SOLUTION: An image distribution device that receives a video signal from an image capturing device, and transmits the video signal to an image display device, comprises: subject information reception means that receives subject information from a sensor provided on the image display device; viewing status detection means that detects the presence/absence of viewing from the subject information; video signal reception means that receives a video signal encoded by the image capturing device; video signal reception presence/absence determination means that determines the presence/absence of reception of the video signal; video signal transmission means that transmits the video signal to display means; and encoding start request transmission means that transmits a start request of encoding to the image capturing device. When the viewing status detection means has detected the presence of viewing and the video signal reception presence/absence determination means has determined that the reception is absent, a start request of encoding is transmitted to the image capturing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
