<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve feeding of rod-shaped articles to a magazine so that feeding of the articles can be changed and the structural expenses can be retained as low as possible. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a feeding device 50 for feeding rod-shaped articles of the tobacco processing industry into the magazine 100. In a feeding device 50, one article mass-flow feeding device 60 and at least one article individual feeding device 70 are disposed on a feeding side of an input side magazine 100. Particularly, the feeding device 50 is characterized by that the article mass-flow feeding device 60 and the article individual feeding device 70 can be selectively operated. The feeding device 50 includes the magazine 100 having the feeding side for storing rod-shaped articles, specifically filter rods, of the tobacco processing industry. Also, there are provided a machine F for the tobacco processing industry and a method for operating the feeding device 50 for feeding articles of the tobacco processing industry into the magazine 100, where rod-shaped articles are fed into the magazine 100 through the feeding side of the magazine 100 in the horizontal direction in particular. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
