This power transmission control device is applicable to hybrid cars each equipped with both an internal combustion engine (EG) and a motor (MG) as power sources, and comprises a manual transmission and a friction crutch. The charging condition is established when the shift position is in a "neutral" position, the friction crutch is in an engaged state, the accelerator opening is "0" and the remaining battery charge (SOC) is lower than a threshold value (TH). Upon the establishment of the charging condition, the charging of a battery utilizing an EG torque is performed. Specifically, the MG is driven as an electricity generator utilizing the EG torque, and the battery is charged utilizing an electric energy obtained by the power generation by the MG. In this manner, a battery for feeding an electric energy to an electric motor can be charged with high efficiency by utilizing an internal combustion engine torque in an HV-MT car. |
