<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling an optical connector, capable of easily assembling the optical connector. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 maintains a relative positional relation between a frame member 7 and a plug housing 8 and prepares a cap 43 for holding the frame member 7 and the plug housing 8, holds the frame member 7 and the plug housing 8 by the cap 43, inserts a ferrule body 14 into the frame member 7 in the state that the frame member 7 and the plug housing 8 are held by the cap 43, and connects the plug housing 8 and a rear housing 9 with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
