PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that low accurate alignment of an insulator film with a connection electrode connected to a transparent electrode causes disconnection, a short circuit and the like.

SOLUTION: A display device with a touch screen includes: a display device having a display area; and a touch screen having a detection area including a transparent electrode and a peripheral area positioned around the detection area, and placed on the display area. The peripheral area includes a connection electrode connected to the transparent electrode and an insulator film having protrusion portions extending on the detection area side. The protrusion portions are placed by being superimposed over the connection electrode. The transparent electrode is placed by covering the superimposing portion of the protrusion portions and the connection electrode.
