<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method by which noble metals such as Pt, Ru are easily and efficiently separated and recovered together with Al alloy being a substrate, as a method for recovering noble metals such as Pt, R from a recording medium having an Al alloy substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the noble metal etc. from the Al alloy substrate is characterized in that a recording medium with a magnetic layer formed on the surface of the Al alloy substrate is heated to a temperature of ≥450°C and lower than the melting point of the Al alloy under oxygen atmosphere and then cooled, thereby the magnetic layer is exfoliated from the Al alloy substrate and the Al alloy is recovered and also, the noble metals are recovered from the exfoliated magnetic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
