<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp for a vehicle capable of making road surface luminance at this side of sideways of the vehicle brighter than conventional ones (enhancing brightness at this side of sideways of the vehicle). <P>SOLUTION: In the lamp for a vehicle including a light source, and a reflecting face so structured as to reflect light incident from the light source and irradiate on a range from front of the vehicle to sideways, the reflecting face consists of an upper reflecting face arranged above a horizontal plane passing the light source and a lower reflecting face arranged under the horizontal plane, both of which are so structured that a vertical width of distribution light formed by reflected light from one of the reflecting faces on a virtual vertical screen rightly opposed to the vehicular front end is larger than that of the distribution light formed by reflected light from the other reflecting face on the virtual vertical screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
