<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing pentamethylene diisocyanate, capable of more easily producing pentamethylene diisocyanate at a low cost and at a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: Pentamethylene diisocyanate is produced by: obtaining an aqueous solution containing pentamethylene diamine or its salt by a biochemical technique; adding a water-insoluble organic solvent to the aqueous solution thereafter; dehydrating the aqueous solution to obtain a slurry of pentamethylene diamine or its salt; and after that, introducing phosgene to the slurry. As pentamethylene diisocyanate can be obtained by the method for producing pentamethylene diisocyanate without separating or purifying pentamethylene diamine or its salt, pentamethylene diisocyanate can be produced easily and at a low cost, and loss of pentamethylene diamine or its salt can be prevented, so that pentamethylene diisocyanate can be obtained at a high yield. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
