摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a weld that can prevent measurement while short circuit abnormality is being generated, in measuring a resistance value and an inductance value used for calculating an electrode tip voltage with an electrode in a short circuit state. <P>SOLUTION: In a measurement mode for measuring a sum total resistance value and a sum total inductance value to an electrode tip for calculating an electrode tip voltage; it is determined, in actual measurement of each of the values, whether a detected output voltage Vm is an abnormal value caused by a factor including short circuit abnormality of an electrode or not. When the voltage is determined to be abnormal, an abnormality notification device notifies an operator that it is abnormal. In other words, the operator can recognize that a short circuit state required in the actual measurement is abnormal by being notified of the abnormality, in the case that the state is abnormal; therefore, the actual measurement while the short circuit abnormality is being generated is prevented from being continued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
