<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove in which temperature elevation of a cooking stove body and the like is suppressed compared to conventional stoves. <P>SOLUTION: The gas cooking stove includes: a burner 13 housed in a cooking stove body 100 and having a burning part comprising a plurality of flame holes; an opening 11 formed on an upper face side of the cooking stove body 100 and exposing the burning part; and a trivet mounting part 19 which is disposed on the upper face of the cooking stove body 100 and on which a trivet 15 that covers the opening 11 is placed.
