<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide another technique for reducing the streak that can be generated in a joint between two unit print areas printed through different main scans. <P>SOLUTION: For each of a plurality of block data obtained by dividing line image data corresponding to the edge part of a band in print data after performing a halftone process, an amount of ink to be used is obtained on the basis of a plurality of dot data included in the each block data (S31, S32), for each block data, an ink amount control value corresponding to the amount of ink to be used is acquired (S33), and the size information of at least one dot data among the plurality of dot data included in the each block data is changed such that the amount of ink to be used becomes reduced to the ink amount control value (S35 to S41). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
