<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically enhance interest in a game machine comprising a variable display device including a display unit for displaying identification information. <P>SOLUTION: A game board 8 of a Pachinko machine 1 has an operation hole 11 and a large prize hole 12, and a special pattern display device 20 equipped with a display unit 20B is incorporated in the central portion of the game board 8. The one display unit 20A includes: a main display unit 20a; and a sub-display unit 20b. In addition to a background image, a plurality of pattern lines K1-K3, and the like comprising a plurality of patterns are displayed at the main display unit 20a.
