<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus that can retry fold reinforcing and reduce a load caused by the occurrence of an error of fold reinforcing on a user when the error of the fold reinforcing is detected. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing apparatus includes: a movement support unit that supports a fold reinforcing roller for further reinforcing fold of a fold sheet and moves the sheet in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveyance direction; a storage unit that accumulates and stores the number of stop of the movement support unit when the movement support unit stops and retrys the fold reinforcing operation while the fold reinforcing roller is applying the fold reinforcing to the sheet; and a controller that retreats the movement support unit to an evacuation position, drives the movement support unit again and retrys the fold reinforcing operating by the fold reinforcing operation by the fold reinforcing roller if the number of stop of the movement support unit stored in the storage unit is lower than a predetermined number when the stop of the movement support unit occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
