METHOD, EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEM FOR COORDINATED MULTI-POINT TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION

A method, equipment and system for Coordinated Multi-point transmission/ reception (CoMP) are provided. The method comprises: obtaining the Reference Signal Received Powers (RSRPs) of cells in the measurement set of a User Equipment (UE); determining the difference between the RSRP of a first cell and the RSRP of a second cell other than the serving cell in the measurement set of the UE is greater than a preset threshold; combining the cell having the greater RSRP, either the first cell or the second cell, with the serving cell of the UE into a coordinated set of the UE; and executing Coordinated Multi-point transmission/reception (CoMP) for the UE to enhance the effect of CoMP.
