<p>A master device (10) transmits a beacon signal including information relating to a proximity wireless communication area (30) by using a transmission power that allows the beacon signal to reach beyond the proximity wireless communication area (30) at a predetermined cycle. A slave device (20) estimates the distance to the master device (10) on the basis of the information in the beacon signal when the beacon signal is received from the master device (10), and the slave device (20) connects to the master device (10) by using proximal wireless communication in the case that the slave device is within the proximity wireless communication area (30).</p>
