PURPOSE: An alternating copolymer is provided to have high solubility and stability, thereby capable of providing an organic thin film transistor with excellent efficiency and performance because of high electron mobility and low standard deviation. CONSTITUTION: An alternating copolymer comprises an alkylthiophene in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1-R12 is respectively hydrogen, C1-40 alkyl, C3-40 cycloalkyl, C2-40 heterocycloalkyl, C2-40 alkenyl, C2-40 alkynyl, C6-50 aryl, C6-50 ar C1-40 alkyl, C2-50 heteroaryl, C2-50 heteroar C1-30 alkyl,C6-50 ar C1-30 alkoxy, C1-40 alkoxy, C6-50 aryloxy, C1-40 alkylcarbonyl, C2-40 alkoxycarbonyl, C6-50 allyloxycarbonyl, cyano, carbamoyl, haloformyl, formyl, isocyano, thiocyanate, thioisocyanate, amino, hydroxy, nitro, trifluoromethyl, halogen, and C1-40 alkylsilyl groups.
