<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air-bag device of an automobile which can shorten a time until completion of gas filling to an air-bag body, and also can reduce a temporal difference. <P>SOLUTION: The curtain air-bag device of the automobile includes the air-bag body 2a which is housed in a wound state vertically in a side part of a ceiling member of a vehicle body, is inflated by gas G ejected from an inflator at a side collision, and can be deployed in a curtain shape toward a lower side LWR, and is formed in a bag shape by joining an occupant side base cloth and a base cloth on an outer side of the automobile by an outer circumference joint part. The air-bag body 2a includes an inflow port 4 communicated to the inflator, a communicating passage 5 communicated from the inflow port 4 to a lower part of the air-bag body 2a, and a plurality of bag-like sub inflating parts 12a-13d which are opened to the communicating passage 5 and are respectively joined to the occupant side base cloth and the base cloth on the outer side of the automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
