<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall accessory capable of reliably securing water tightness between the rear face of a cover material and the front face of an exterior material, allowing construction work to be efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: An external wall accessory 1 comprises a base material 2 having a fitting part 22 and a cover material 3. The cover material 3 comprises a long surface decorative part 4, a swollen part 5 which is arranged in the vicinity of an edge of the rear face of the surface decorative part 4 in the lateral direction, and a leg part 6 which projects from the vicinity of the center of the rear face of the surface decorative part 4 and fittable to the fitting part 22 of the base material 2.
