<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid automatic initiation of an absence mode triggered by the continuation of a state such that a telephone terminal has not been operated despite that a user is at his desk or a call does has not been incoming to the telephone terminal for a prescribed time period. <P>SOLUTION: A telephone control device comprises: absence mode initiation confirmation means for transmitting an inquiry message to confirm whether or not the absence mode is to be initiated to a predetermined confirmation destination address when the telephone terminal is decided to be not operated by the user during a predetermined period; confirmation result reception means for receiving a response message to the inquiry message transmitted by the absence mode initiation confirmation means; and absence mode initiation means for initiating the absence mode according to the response message received by the confirmation result reception means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
