Its particular feature is that it exterminates phytopathogenic fungi, according to strict reliability standards, since it degrades slowly and when decomposed, the subproducts thereof are toxic for the pathogen; it does not affect the host plant; and it is essential for managing the disease in large area cultures. The TRAXNOX fungicide has a fungicidal effect within 72 hours. It has an effective preventive action, since it inhibits the development of the pathological syndrom in the plant when applied after pathogen invasion; it prevents the appearance of pustules, which are phytopathogenic fungi structures. It has a therapeutic action confined to the post-infection and presymptomatic phases, it dries out and eradicates the pustules, eliminating all spores, and acts as an eradicant, word which describes the effects in the post-symptomatic stages, in which it exterminates the Puccinia psidii fungi present on Eucalyptus sp..
