<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene ether resin composition having excellent long-term heat aging resistance and excellent heat resistance, impact resistance, and flame retardancy, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition includes in the total 100 pts.mass of the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) 57-95 pts.mass of polyphenylene ether; (B) 2-30 pts.mass of a hydrogenated block copolymer; (C) 3-30 pts.mass of an organophosphorus compound; and (D) 0-20 pts.mass of a styrene-based resin; wherein (B) is a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising a polystyrene block and a conjugated diene compound polymer block, has a number-average molecular weight of 100,000-500,000, is dispersed in a particle state in the resin composition, and has a weight-average particle size of 0.3-1 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
