<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for a disk storage device capable of reducing its size and improving resistance to external force. <P>SOLUTION: A housing case includes: a case wall having a case inner wall surface facing a storage device outer wall surface in a housing state, in which a disk storage device is housed in the housing case; and a deformation plate placed between the storage device outer wall surface and the case inner wall surface and extending along the case inner wall surface. The deformation plate includes: a convex plate portion whose specific direction shape viewed from a specific direction is convex, in which the convex includes an apex positioned on a side of one of the storage device outer wall surface and the case inner wall surface and a skirt positioned on a side of the other, and which deforms by being applied force in a plate thickness direction from the top of the apex; and bent plate portions which are connected to the skirt, extend from the skirt in a direction away from the apex, and bend toward the one side in a convex manner in accordance with the deformation of the convex plate portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
