<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transferring device capable of preventing occurrence of a density detection error due to careless scattering of a toner, stain of a recording material or stain of a surrounding member in employing a structure for improving transfer efficiency by providing repulsive force to the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A transferring device for transferring a toner image carried on an image carrier 20 onto a recording medium P, comprises: transferring means for transferring the toner image onto the recording medium while conveying the recording medium held together with the image carrier; pattern image detecting means 16 provided in a portion following a transferring position of the transferring means 15 along a moving direction of the image carrier 20 and capable of detecting a density adjusting pattern image formed in a region other than an image forming region of the image carrier 20; and electric field blocking means provided on a side of the image carrier 20 between the density adjusting pattern image formed in the region other than the image forming region and the transferring means 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
