<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromic material showing high transmittance in a visible light region, particularly in a short wavelength side at a wavelength of 400 to 500 nm, and to provide a production method of the thermochromic material. <P>SOLUTION: A thermochromic material 1 comprises a zinc oxide-based thin film 11 as a base film formed on a substrate 20, a vanadium dioxide-based thin film 12 formed on the zinc oxide-based thin film 11, and a silicon oxide-based thin film 13 formed on the vanadium dioxide-based thin film 12. With respect to a wavelength λ<SB POS="POST">0</SB>equal to or less than 400 nm, the optical film thickness of the zinc oxide-based thin film 11 is λ<SB POS="POST">0</SB>/4, the optical film thickness of the vanadium dioxide-based thin film 12 is λ<SB POS="POST">0</SB>/2, and the optical film thickness of the silicon oxide-based thin film 13 is λ<SB POS="POST">0</SB>/4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
