<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer allowing cleaning treatment of a roller to be simply and smoothly performed without using dedicated paper and member, and preventing the roller from being carelessly exposed to the outside in a state in which the cleaning treatment is not performed. <P>SOLUTION: A printer P includes a paper feed part 1, a paper feed roller R1 for feeding a printing medium M supplied from the paper feed part 1 along a feed passage, and a casing 6 having a casing body and a cover for preventing exposure of the paper feed roller R1 in a closed state. An opening/closing door movable between a closed position to prevent the exposure of the paper feed roller R1 in a state in which the cover is in an opened state, and an opened position to allow for access to the paper feed roller R1 by an operator's hand and finger is installed in the casing body. An opening operation of the opening/closing door from the closed position is restricted by the cover set at the closed state, thereby inhibiting the access to the paper feed roller R1 by the hand and finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
