The method involves independently adjusting two headlamps (1.1,1.2) during turning of the vehicle. Light beams emitted by the headlamps are determined in response to the map data detecting unit (K). The light curve angle (alpha 1) of the headlamp (1.1) is determined based on amount of light beams emitted by the headlamp. The light curve angle (alpha 2) of headlamp (1.2) is determined based on acquired momentary steering angle. The light beams of headlamps are emitted based corresponding light curve angles. An independent claim is included for device for controlling light curve of headlamp of vehicle.
