摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle drive motor enabling reduction in voltage stress which may be generated due to switching by a switching element included in an inverter in accordance with a motor state and an environment where the motor is placed while suppressing decline in motor torque caused by decline in drive voltage. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter 14 includes switching elements Q1-Q6, and converts DC voltage from a battery 10 to AC voltage to supply the AC voltage to a motor 16, by turning on/off the switching elements Q1-Q6. A control device 20 controls switching of the switching elements Q1-Q6 by increasing duration of at least one of an ON period or an OFF period of the switching elements Q1-Q6 as a temperature of the motor 16 increases and an atmospheric pressure of a space where the motor 16 is placed lowers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
