ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, DATA RECEPTION PROGRAM, AND DATA COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data normally even when positions of pixels of a transmission-side device do not match positions of reception-side optical sensors.

SOLUTION: A portable electronic apparatus 1b includes a display part 32b in which a plurality of optical sensors 4s are arrayed; a communication region setting part 22d which makes the optical sensors 4s detect a reference point displayed so as to indicate the position and size of a region used by a display part of the other device opposed to the display part 32b to transmit data, and sets a communication region as a region for receiving a signal transmitted from the display part of the other device based upon the position where the reference point is detected; a division region setting part 22e which divides the communication region into a plurality of regions according to a shift in the position where the reference point is detected; and a data reception part 22f which makes the optical sensors 4s detect the signal transmitted from the display part of the other device for each region divided by the division region setting part 22e, and obtains data from the detected signal by decoding.
