<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing reduction in transmittance due to the internal absorption of a resin lens with a simple system. <P>SOLUTION: Laser drive circuits 10a and 10b respectively drive a light emission part built in an LD array 2 according to image data and output a light beam to a photoreceptor. Thus, image recording (printing processing) to the photoreceptor is performed. A laser drive circuit 10c drives a light emission part built in the LD array 2 according to the instructions from CPU32 and outputs a light beam.
