<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling power consumption of a navigator as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This onboard display equipment which is mounted on a vehicle equipped with a battery, includes a display part which displays an image, an electric residual quantity determining part which determines whether or not the electric residual quantity of the battery is a specified quantity or over and a power consumption managing part which controls power consumption in the vehicle concerned in the case when the electric residual quantity of the battery is under the specified quantity.
