<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable vacuum switching device with high reliability, which is constituted by a plurality of operation mechanism parts, and which can open/close a vacuum valve by the operation mechanism part selected by a switching action. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum switching device comprises: a vacuum valve; a main spindle arranged such that a shaft core is orthogonal to an opening/closing direction between electrodes of the vacuum valve; a drive lever fastened to the main spindle so as to be orthogonal to the main spindle; an operation mechanism part having an output link coupled with one side of the drive lever and rotating the main spindle via the drive lever; and an operation rod whose one side is coupled with a movable current conduction shaft of the vacuum valve, whose other side is coupled with the other side of the drive lever, and which moves in the opening/closing direction between electrodes of the vacuum valve in connection with the rotation of the main spindle, and opens/closes the electrodes of the vacuum valve.
