<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking device capable of improving a run-on shock and the like during loading and unloading operations and capable of facilitating not only work of installation and removal but also work of maintenance and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A parking device comprises: a main body 4 that is installed in a position not to be covered with a vehicle 1 parked in a vehicle room 3; a support arm 5 that is installed along the direction of loading/unloading the vehicle 1, in the almost central portion of the vehicle room 3; a lock member 6 that is attached to a leading end of the support arm 5; and a drive mechanism 7 which is provided inside the main body 4, which locates the lock member 6 in an initial position between tires on both the sides of the vehicle 1 when the vehicle 1 is loaded/unloaded, and which shifts the lock member 6 to a position to lock the vehicle 1, when the vehicle 1 is parked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
