<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side door of a vehicle which prevents deformation of a door panel during side collision. <P>SOLUTION: (1) A side door 10 of a vehicle includes a sheet 20 with dilatant characteristics pasted on an inner face of a door outer panel 11. The dilatant sheet 20 is immediately hardened at the time of side collision, thereby preventing deformation of the door panel. There is no need to make a mold, so that the sheet 20 is applicable even if a vehicle model is changed, and thereby reducing cost. Moreover, weight increase is suppressed compared with addition of a metal reinforcement material. (2) The dilatant sheet 20 is pasted on a whole surface of the inner face of the outer panel 11. Even when a vehicle collides with a tree, deformation can be prevented. (3) The dilatant sheet 20 is pasted on a smaller region than the whole surface of the inner face of the door outer panel 11 in a region including a part at a height where a bumper of the other vehicle collides.
