<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper that enables the magnitude of braking force to be varied, while preventing complication of a device. <P>SOLUTION: A piston section 16 is provided with: a piston body 16a that is affixed to a rod 12 and that is provided with at least one hole section 19 for allowing fluid to pass through; and an orifice plate 25 that is provided with at least one interconnecting hole configuring an orifice by interconnecting with the hole section 19 and that is turnably provided with respect to the rod 12. An affixing structure that can affix the orifice plate 25 to a housing 11 is provided to the orifice plate 25 and the housing 11, and the overall duct cross-sectional area of the orifice is caused to be variable by altering the interconnection state of the interconnecting hole and the hole section 19 by altering the position in the peripheral direction of the piston body 16a with respect to the orifice plate 25 by rotating the rod 12 while the orifice plate 25 is affixed to the housing 11 by means of the affixing structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
