METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING MEDIA STREAM DATA IN CLOUD COMPUTING SYSTEM

The embodiments of the prevent invention relate to a method and device for transmitting media stream data in a cloud computing system. The method includes: a TC sends media stream transmission information of the TC to a VM, so that the VM sends the same to a media gateway; the TC receives media stream transmission information of the media gateway sent by the VM; and the TC establishes a session between the TC and the media gateway according to the media stream transmission information of the TC and that of the media gateway, and transmits media stream data using the established session. The embodiments of the prevent invention reduce transmission delay. Moreover, since the media stream data does not pass through the VM, the VM need not decode or code the media stream data, so that the CPU occupation rate in the VM is low, and the number of VMs which can be operated by the corresponding physical server can be further increased, increasing the resource utilization rate of the physical server.
