摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, mobile equipment and a switchover control method, capable of effectively suppressing a connection delay caused by a cell search time at switchover to a radio communication system having a different radio access technology (RAT), without acquisition of mobile equipment capability on the core network side. <P>SOLUTION: A UE 300 is connectable to a first radio communication system and a second radio communication system, using a plurality of frequency bands, differently from the first radio communication system. The UE 300 receives an RRC CONNECTION REJECT which instructs switching from the first radio communication system to the second radio communication system, and a plurality of switchover destination frequencies included in the frequency bands for use for the second radio communication system. When an incapable frequency through which the UE 300 cannot transmit and receive is included in the plurality of switchover destination frequencies, the search is executed for a cell of switchover destination frequencies in which the incapable frequency is excluded from the plurality of switchover destination frequencies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
