<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an increase in a motor output, an improvement in acceleration performance, an increase in collection rate of kinetic energy, and a decrease in driving energy by being applied to an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An output voltage inversion-type bi-directional current step-up/step-down chopper 8 has a common terminal as one of its input terminals and one of its output terminals. The common terminal is connected to one terminal of a DC power supply 1, and the other input terminal of the chopper is connected to the other terminal of the DC power supply. A load is connected between the other terminal of the DC power supply and the other terminal of the output terminals of the chipper to control the chopper so that the voltage of the load can become higher than that of the DC power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
