<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set more readily internally-set information in a stand-alone type verification system which reads information such as bar codes and characters printed on a printing medium to verifies printed information. <P>SOLUTION: The verification system includes: a conveying part for conveying a printing medium printed with printed information; a read part for optically reading the printed information printed on the conveying printing medium and generating an output signal; and a control part which verifies the printed information printed on the printing medium by reading internally-set information from a portable external memory medium stored with the internally-set information or receiving the internally-set information from an infrared communication terminal having a storage part for storing the internally-set information, controlling the conveyance of the printing medium at least in the conveying part, generating read data expressing a content of the printed information which is read, and comparing the read data with reference data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
