<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element having an enhanced piezoelectric constant, and to provide a liquid ejection head using the piezoelectric element, an ultrasonic motor and a dust removal device. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric element 410 has at least a pair of electrodes 401, 402, and a piezoelectric material 403 provided in contact with the pair of electrodes 401, 402. The piezoelectric material 403 consists of an aggregation 405 of crystal grains 404, 409 containing barium titanate as a main component, and at least the crystal grains 404 in contact with the electrode 401 in the crystal grains of the aggregation 405 have a dislocation layer 407 in the grains. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
