<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in that, in a conventional technology in which an operation is input via a touch sensor by viewing a GUI screen, it is impossible to accurately understand correspondence between an on-screen position of a selected item on the GUI screen and a corresponding position on a touching surface, and a problem in that, when not the touch sensor but a touch panel having an information display function is used, necessary costs relatively increase or power consumption increases. <P>SOLUTION: A remote controller is provided that selects an icon to be operated in a GUI screen by using a touch sensor, and that, by causing a touch sensor portion on a touching surface which corresponds to an icon disposed in the GUI screen to, for example, emit light, the correspondence between both can easily be recognized by a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
