<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen data editing device for programmable display unit which can easily extract desired screen data from data of an existent project and reuse the screen data. <P>SOLUTION: The screen data editing device includes a project data management part 101d which calculates actual use area for each component kind as to each of screens stored in a data storage part 102, selects a kind having largest actual use area as a characteristic kind, determines a use of a screen according to the characteristic kind to generate use information, and stores actual use area and use information by characteristic kind with respect to the respective screens stored in the data storage part 102; a candidate extraction part 101c which extracts a screen for the same use as a use specified when a screen is newly created out of the screens stored in the data storage part 102 according to the use information, and sets order for respective extracted screens based upon the stored actual use area by the characteristic kind; and a candidate list display part 101b which displays a list of the respective extracted screens based upon the set order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
