<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a radiation image in which noise is reduced over a wide energy band. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for taking a radiation image comprises: a radiation source 2 for emitting radiation; a tabular wavelength conversion plate 3 for generating scintillation light L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>in response to incidence of the radiation having emitted from the source 2 and penetrated through an object A; mirrors 6a, 6b for guiding the scintillation light L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>radiated from a surface 3a of an incidence side of the radiation of the wavelength conversion plate 3; mirrors 7a, 7b for guiding the scintillation light L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>radiated from a surface 3b on an opposite side of the surface 3a of the incidence side of the wavelength conversion plate 3; a light detector 4 for imaging the respective scintillation light L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>guided by the mirrors 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b; and a mirror 8 for guiding the respective scintillation light L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>guided by the mirrors 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b toward the light detector 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
